When we sort our recyclable items it takes a lot of time from doing other things. When the recyclables reach the trash
company, it takes even more labor to sort the items. Human workers are in danger of being cut by broken glass or
stuck with contaminated syringe needles. Perhaps we should not sort recyclable items now but toss them all into trash
heaps for sorting later. In ten years, the robot labor to sort out the trash heaps will be very inexpensive. At that point in
time you won’t have to be concerned with human worker health and safety issues.
