Robots Help Model Airplane Fliers
Donald: In the old days (10 years ago), one would have to sign in with a head manager as to
what frequency one would be using so that there would be no conflict. Now, no such manager is
needed. The computer chips in the transmitters take care of the whole thing. They use spread
spectrum techniques to avoid using the same channels. the batteries are smaller and the
gyroscopes now actually work and cost only 5% of what they used to.
